Innovation & Digitalisation in the Agro-Food Sector 2021

Join the virtual mathcmaking event at 59th International Fair of Agriculture and Food Fair AGRA 2021

Regional Development Agency Podravje-Maribor is organizing an on-line business matchmaking event “Innovation & Digitalisation in the Agro-Food Sector” in the framework of the 59th International Fair of Agriculture and Food Fair AGRA 2021.

The AGRA 2021 fair will promote new technologies and new know-how, while making efficient use of everything we already have at our disposal. Therefore, it will be an excellent opportunity for the transfer of new know-how to agricultural holdings and farms, for the exchange of experience in the international field, and for paving new business ties. This year’s partner country will be the Republic of France.

The matchmaking event aims to initiate business and technology co-operations by offering pre-arranged 25-minute meetings. The basis for the meetings is an online catalogue containing all competence profiles of each participant.

SEEMEET he biggest business networking event in Slovenia in 2020

 

SEEMEET SLOVENIA 2020 is an international B2B networking event that provides a unique platform for businesses networking in different sectors with special attention on companies from the fields:

The purpose of the event is to help companies expand their business on the domestic and international markets by organizing up to 15 pre-arranged meetings that will identify mutual interests for further cooperation in a quick and efficient way. Due to current situation, we decided to move SeeMeet 2020 Online.

SEEMEET offers many opportunities for networking, informal socializing. Moreover, it enriches our knowledge and skills with selected keynote speakers and thematic lectures.

To get a better sense of what the event has to offer, let's delve into last year's numbers. SEEMEET Slovenia 2019 attracted 190 participants from 136 registered companies

and organizations coming from 14 countries. Participants are large and small

companies and organizations present on local, national and international markets.

In just two days, the event held over 1.100 meetings, so you can imagine networking atmosphere that reigns at the event.

Join us for a international B2B event attended by an estimated number of 200 companies and enjoy in a relaxed networking environment accompanied with likeminded business professionals and decision makers.

As a joint project, the event is organized by 10 regional development agencies under the leadership of the Development Center Novo mesto and a strong support from the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and SPIRIT Slovenia - public agency.

The idea of SEEMEET was born in 2014, when the first edition was organized in Radenci (Pomurje region) in Slovenia. In 2017 the event moved to Maribor and was becoming more and more recognized. SEEMEET Slovenia 2019 attracted 190 participants from 136 registered companies and organizations coming from 14 countries.

The main goal was and remains - offering a platform for companies to establish new business connections.

Efficient internationalisation policy for SMEs across European regions

INTRA (Interreg Europe) project partnership invites You to its final Conference:  Efficient internationalisation policy across European regions 

 

INTRA project invites policymakers, academics, business support organisation and foremost small and medium-sized companies to join us on the 29th of September 2020 for the online conference via Zoom. 

 

The Internationalisation Conference is a joint effort of six European regions: East Slovenia, Abruzzo in Italy, Algarve in Portugal, Extremadura in Spain, South-East Bulgaria and West-Midlands in the United Kingdom that will demonstrate how internationalisation policies can be designed to overcome the barriers that SMEs are facing and fulfil their needs in their business expansion, growth, competitiveness and sustainability. 

 

The INTRA (Interreg Europe) project reflects the need to enhance and exchange knowledge and good practices among the policymakers, foremost the managing authorities, involved in the Cohesion policy.  

 

The INTRA demonstrated that the Operational Programmes could be aligned to the needs of SMEs, but only if the process is structured through the cooperation of different local, regional and national stakeholders that shape the internationalisation environment. 

 

At the Conference we will discuss the role of regions and regional development agencies in creating an internationalisation framework and governance. It will further provide insights in the role of international organisations such as the European Association of Regional Development Agencies (EURADA), Smart Specialisation Platform, Clusters and Networks.
